Mercedes Mone Beats Willow Nightingale to Win AEW Women's Title at All In 2026 at Wembley

Mercedes Moné defeated Willow Nightingale at All In at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday to win the AEW Women's World Championship for the first time.

While a showdown between Mercedes and Willow at All In long felt inevitable, the manner in which they got there was somewhat unexpected.

Nightingale was originally slated to compete in the 2026 Owen Hart Cup tournament with the winner earning the right to challenge for the AEW women's world title at All In.

However, due to injury, Willow had to pull out of the tourney. Her surprise replacement was Moné, who made her return to AEW programming after a hiatus of more than five months.

Mercedes went on to win the Owen Hart Cup for the second straight year, beating Maya World in the finals at Forbidden Door.

Nightingale returned to action shortly thereafter and won a Casino Gauntlet Match on the July 8 episode of Dynamite to earn an AEW Women's Championship match against Thekla at Redemption.

Willow took down Thekla at Redemption, finally winning her first AEW women's world title in the process.

That set the stage for Nightingale vs. Moné at All In, and it was a fitting title match given the history they have built together in recent years.

In Mercedes' first AEW match, she beat Willow for the TBS Championship in 2024, but Willow later beat Mercedes for the TBS Championship in the final match before Moné's AEW hiatus in December 2025.

They did battle once again Sunday at All In, and Mercedes was victorious this time around, allowing her to finally reach the top of the mountain in the AEW women's division.
