The New England Patriots will honor one of their most iconic players with an induction into the team's Hall of Fame this fall.

Per ESPN's Mike Reiss, legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski, who won three of his four Super Bowl titles with the Patriots, will be honored with a Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Patriots Place Plaza before the team's Week 9 matchup against the Green Bay Packers the next day. Legendary quarterback Tom Brady will be on the Fox broadcast for the game.

Gronkowski spent nine seasons in New England before following Brady to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the final two years of his career, adding his fourth championship ring in 2020. He received five Pro Bowl selections and first-team All-Pro honors four times, all in a Patriots uniform.

"Rob Gronkowski's performance on the field was extraordinary, but it was his infectious energy and consistently positive presence that truly set him apart," Patriots owner Robert Kraft said in the April announcement of his impending induction. "He always brightened everyone's day. He earned the respect of coaches and teammates through his work ethic, preparation and unselfish approach, while redefining what it meant to play his position. Rob became a fan favorite almost immediately and remained the standard at tight end for nearly a decade. We look forward to celebrating his induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame and, in time, the Pro Football Hall of Fame."

The Patriots have allowed fans to select one player into the team's Hall of Fame since 2007, and Gronkowski is one of the most beloved players in team history.

Gronkowski's Hall of Fame enshrinement will be a special moment for Patriots fans to celebrate before the team's showdown against a fellow title-contending team in the Packers.
