FedEx Cup 2026 Points, Playoff Standings After St. Jude Championship

Scottie Scheffler strengthened his lead atop the FedEx Cup standings with his win at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Scheffler ran away with the victory on Sunday. He finished at 17-under with an eight-shot lead over Si Woo Kim.

Scheffler is now over 1,000 points clear of Matt Fitzpatrick in the FedEx Cup standings. He's also assured of a spot in the Tour Championship in two weeks.

While Scheffler was the tournament's primary story, a few other notable moves were made at TPC Southwind.

Sungjae Im was the only player to catapult himself into the top 50. His tie for fifth allowed him to jump 13 spots and above the cut line.

The top 50 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings advanced to next week's BMW Championship. Jordan Spieth, Max Homa, Shane Lowry and Brian Harman were among the 20 golfers that failed to advance.

The combination of another solid day from Scheffler and lackluster rounds from the chasers led to Scheffler's eight-shot victory.

Scheffler picked up 750 FedEx Cup points for his win. That allowed his lead over Fitzpatrick to balloon to over 1,000 points.

Scheffler will go into the Tour Championship in two weeks as the leader in the points standings. Unlike previous years, Scheffler won't earn a stroke advantage because of his position. The Tour Championship is a straight-up stroke play event in 2026.

There wasn't much significant movement elsewhere in the FedEx Cup standings outside of Im's 13-place leap.

Im was the only golfer to move from outside the top 50 and into the field for the BMW Championship.

Keith Mitchell tumbled two places from 49th to 51st to make room for Im inside the top 50.

The focus now shifts to St. Louis and the top-30 cut after the BMW Championship.

Rickie Fowler currently sits 30th in the FedEx Cup standings. Im, Justin Thomas, Aaron Rai and Sahith Theegala are among the golfers between 31st and 50th who will try to improve their positions at the BMW Championship.
