CeeDee Lamb Hypes Potential for Duo with George Pickens to be 'The Best Ever' Before Cowboys Season

Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has lofty goals for himself and teammate George Pickens heading into the 2026 season.

Lamb said that the Cowboys' receiving duo can be "the best ever" in an interview on Saturday night.

Lamb and Pickens are entering their second season together, as both players served as crucial pieces of Dallas' passing attack in 2025.

Pickens hauled in a career-high 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns. He earned the first Pro Bowl nod of his career and received a Second Team All-Pro selection.

While injuries caused Lamb to miss three games last season, the five-time Pro Bowler still made his presence felt when available.

He racked up 1,077 receiving yards and three touchdowns, averaging a personal-best 14.4 yards per reception.

Despite the productivity from Lamb and Pickens, the Cowboys ultimately missed the playoffs with a 7-9-1 record. They struggled to slow down opposing offenses, owning the league's worst scoring defense by allowing 30.1 points per game.

Dallas is looking to make a playoff push with a revamped defensive unit, trading for pass-rusher Rashan Gary and signing safety Jalen Thompson during the offseason. The Cowboys also selected safety Caleb Downs with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

If Dallas' defense takes a step forward while Lamb and Pickens continue to perform at an elite level, it isn't hard to imagine the team's brief two-year postseason drought coming to an end.
