Ja'Kobi Lane Impresses, Final Box Score Stats and Highlights from Ravens vs. Eagles

Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane wrapped up an encouraging preseason debut during the team's matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night.

Lane was targeted three times, hauling in three receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown. This included a 16-yard score in the second quarter of the game.

His performance was particularly impressive considering Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson didn't suit up during the contest.

Jackson praised Lane following his touchdown catch, though.

"Man, his aggressiveness to go get the ball – he's attacking the ball," Jackson said in an interview with CBS Sports' Evan Washburn during the game (h/t Josh Tolentino of the Baltimore Sun). "Big hands, tough receiver. That's what we need. We need that. ... It's amazing. The sky is the limit for him."

Expectations are high for Lane after Baltimore selected him with a third-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, as he's made several impressive catches throughout training camp.

The 22-year-old is coming off a 2025 season with USC in which he racked up 745 receiving yards and four touchdowns, averaging 15.2 yards per reception.

It isn't hard to imagine Lane immediately playing a key role in Baltimore's passing attack as a rookie alongside Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman.
