Scottie Scheffler is in possession of his first 54-hole lead in over a year.
Scheffler kept his advantage on top of the FedEx St. Jude Championship leaderboard on Saturday.
Scheffler enters Sunday's final round with a two-shot edge over Sam Burns and Sungjae Im.
Burns was Saturday's biggest mover, as he shot an eight-under 62 to give himself a shot at winning the first leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
The players on the back end of the FedEx Cup standings came into more focus on Saturday.
The top 50 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings after Sunday advance to the BMW Championship. Brian Harman and Jordan Spieth will be among the players with a close on the standings during Sunday's final round.

Scottie Scheffler Maintains Lead

Scottie Scheffler wasn't as sharp as he was on Friday, but he's still in front by two strokes.
Scheffler is now in possession of his first 54-hole lead since The Open in 2025. That's a remarkable statistic considering how well he's played over the last few years.
Scheffler rolled in four birdies, had two bogeys and carded 12 pars during his third round.
He was almost undone by the 17th hole, where he missed the fairway and found the greenside bunker. He rallied on that hole to make bogey and save himself from what would've been a catastrophic hole.
Scheffler bounced back with a par on the 18th hole to preserve his two-shot advantage over Burns and Im.
The FedEx Cup points leader is still the favorite to win on Sunday, but he does need to be a little bit cleaner to avoid any challenge from the two golfers tied for second place.
Sam Burns' 62 Puts Him Squarely In Contention to Win

Sam Burns produced the lowest score on the course on Moving Day.
Burns rolled in eight birdies, five on the front nine and three on the back nine, during his bogey-free round.
Saturday's round was a massive improvement for Burns, who opened the tournament with a 67 and 70.
Burns can now spend Sunday fighting for a win instead of jockeying for position in the FedEx Cup standings.
He'll need another low round to challenge Scheffler, but he is more than capable of fighting for first if he delivers another bogey-free round on Sunday.
Brian Harman, Jordan Spieth Fighting To Reach Top 50 In FedEx Cup Standings

Brian Harman and Jordan Spieth will be the two players under the biggest microscope on Sunday when it comes to the FedEx Cup standings.
Harman is currently in a tie for sixth at seven-under. That's put him up to 51st in the projected FedEx Cup standings from 65th place.
A top-five finish, or even higher, is likely necessary for Harman to make the leap inside the top 50 and qualify for next week's BMW Championship.
Spieth, who was one of the five first-round co-leaders, is 53rd in the projected FedEx Cup standings at four-under for the tournament in a tie for 19th.
Spieth shot a 72 on Saturday to drop down 14 spots on the tournament leaderboard. He's in need of a bounce-back Sunday to earn more FedEx Cup points.
Maverick McNealy enters Sunday in 50th place. He hasn't shot lower than a 68 all tournament.
