Rob Gronkowski Shares Real Reason He Didn't Give Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce a Wedding Gift
By not giving Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift a gift for their wedding last month, Rob Gronkowski was simply following the rules he was given by the couple.
Speaking to Eddie Scheidler of NBC Sports (h/t Kimberlee Speakman of PEOPLE), Gronkowski explained the couple requested no gifts.
"[I] didn't get him anything," Gronkowski said. "You weren't supposed to get them gifts, so it's a good thing I didn't. I don't want to break the rules."

One player each NFL team should cut
The no-gifts rule was first made public by another tight end, George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers. He told Extra in the lead up to the ceremony that Kelce and Swift said "absolutely no gifts" even though he was still considering something for Kelce.
"But I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin," Kittle said.
Kelce and Swift tied the knot on July 3 at a ceremony inside Madison Square Garden officiated by Adam Sandler. There haven't been any official pictures or videos released from the event at this point, but guests in attendance have provided some details.
Gronkowski, who played 11 NFL seasons from 2010 to '21, told Scheidler it was "top notch" and "popping" with everyone mingling.
"It was really popping, the wedding, and it was just great, all the different backgrounds, occupations there and everyone just mingling together like everyone belonged," said Gronk.
Kelce addressed his nuptials for the first time this week after a training camp practice, calling it "the best night of my life." The Kansas City Chiefs star is preparing for his 14th NFL season.
