Caitlin Clark, Bueckers, Fudd, Cunningham's Final Box Score Stats, Highlights as Fever Beat Wings

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever pulled away late for a 98-87 victory over Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings at home Friday.

The Fever reclaimed the top spot in the Eastern Conference over the Atlanta Dream, improving to 22-12 with the win and extending their winning streak to three games. The Fever, now fourth in the league standings, will face the Dream in a decisive matchup Monday with control of the conference on the line.

Clark led the squad with an explosive performance, finishing with 29 points on 61 percent shooting from the field. She added 10 assists for a double-double and a steal.

Kelsey Mitchell chipped in 23 points on 43 percent shooting, while Aliyah Boston finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds. 

Tyasha Harris added 15 points off the bench on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting. Sophie Cunningham contributed five points.

Bueckers led the Wings with 29 points on an impressive 52 percent shooting, adding six rebounds and six steals.

Arike Ogunbowale added 20 points and five rebounds, while Odyssey Sims chipped in 11 points.

Dallas dropped to 20-15 but remained fourth in the Western Conference while dropping to the eighth and last remaining playoff spot.

After a tightly contested first quarter, the Fever led by two points behind a nine-point quarter from Harris.

At halftime, Bueckers and the Wings took a 37-35 lead over the Fever, behind 12 points on 46% shooting from the 2025 No. 1 overall pick. Sims added 11 points on three made 3-pointers.

Former Rookie of the Year Clark entered halftime with nine points, four assists and three rebounds for the Fever, while Boston added six points and five rebounds.

Scoring remained tight in the third quarter as Clark exploded for 17 points to keep pace with Bueckers, who scored 12. The two former No. 1 picks went bucket for bucket as the Wings took a 66-63 lead into the final frame.

The Fever pulled away with a 35-21 fourth quarter to seal the home win and look ahead to their next matchup.

On Monday, Bueckers and the Wings will head west to take on the Golden State Valkyries, while Clark and the Fever will face Angel Reese and the Dream on the road.
