Sam Darnold, Amon-Ra St. Brown Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

The NFL Top 100 list rollout continued on Friday with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold and Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown entering the fray.

Darnold, in one of the shockers of the list so far, is all the way up at No. 21 after helping the Seahawks win the Super Bowl last season.

St. Brown came in at No. 22 overall to make the list for the fourth consecutive year.

Darnold is on the top 100 for the second consecutive year, but this time marks a huge leap from 2025 when he was at No. 72 coming off a strong season with the Minnesota Vikings.

There have been 14 quarterbacks named to the NFL Top 100 so far. Some of the names Darnold is ahead of include Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow, Caleb Williams and Dak Prescott.

Darnold threw for 4,048 yards, 25 touchdowns and completed 67.7 percent of his attempts last season. He remained susceptible to turnovers with 14 interceptions, third-most in the NFL behind Geno Smith and Tua Tagovailoa.

The peak individual performance of Darnold's 2025 was the NFC Championship Game against the Los Angeles Rams. He stepped up huge with 346 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-27 win to outduel Matthew Stafford.

This is the range that St. Brown has occupied on the top 100 for three years running now. He came in at No. 23 in 2024, then reached a peak of No. 20 in 2025.

St. Brown's slight drop in the rankings this year comes despite having arguably the best year of his career last season. He finished with 117 receptions, 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Lions star was one of only three receivers with at least 110 catches and 1,400 yards in 2025. Puka Nacua (129 receptions, 1,715 yards) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (119 receptions, 1,793 yards) were the others.

St. Brown has been remarkably consistent throughout his career for a player who started out getting a high target share as a rookie. He has never had fewer than 119 targets and 90 receptions in a season since entering the NFL in 2021.

Over the last four seasons, St. Brown's 623 targets ranks second only to Ja'Marr Chase. He leads the league with 457 catches during that same period.

St. Brown is one of five Lions who have made the NFL Top 100 going into 2026. He joins Aidan Hutchinson, Jared Goff, Penei Sewell and Jack Campbell.
