Jordan Spieth's Errant Tee Shot Near Porta Potties Spotlighted in Video from FedEx Cup Playoffs

A tee shot that landed by the porta potties wasn't enough to stop Jordan Spieth from saving par Thursday at the 2026 FedExCup playoffs.

Spieth rallied from an errant opening shot on the par-5 Hole 3 on his way to recording a one-under par 34 on Thursday's front nine at TPC Southwind in Memphis.

This isn't the first time Spieth has encountered portable restrooms on an early shot.

He also ended up around the porta potties on his third shot of the 2023 PGA Championship before he was allowed TIO relief.

Spieth is playing in the FedEx Cup playoffs after qualifying for the PGA Tour's postseason for a 14th straight year. The postseason started with the FedEx St. Jude Championship this weekend in Memphis.
