Fever's Stephanie White Has Team President's Support Amid Caitlin Clark, Indiana's WNBA Playoff Race

Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White's job doesn't appear to be in jeopardy as the team battles for a spot in the 2026 WNBA playoffs.

Fever president Kelly Krauskopf released a statement supporting White on Tuesday.

"Coach White has done a tremendous job leading the Fever and for the second-consecutive season, has us in great position for a playoff push," Krauskopf said, via ESPN's Alexa Philippou. "She has kept our team focused and united, all while under the brightest spotlight our team and our league have ever experienced. She has the full support of leadership."

White is in the midst of her second season coaching the Fever, owning a 44-32 overall record.

Indiana advanced to the semifinal round of the playoffs in her inaugural year with the organization, a particularly impressive accomplishment considering star guard Caitlin Clark was limited to just 13 games in 2025 due to injuries.

The Fever started off slow this year, sitting at just 4-4 through their first eight games. They've gone 16-8 since, though.

Indiana currently holds the No. 5 spot in the WNBA standings, but the team is just 1.5 games back from the Las Vegas Aces at No. 3.

The Fever have found success this season largely due to their explosive offense, leading the league by averaging 95.9 points per game. They also own the No. 1 offensive rating among all teams (via WNBA.com).

As Indiana looks to remain in the playoff picture and climb further up the standings, the team remains confident in White.
