Caitlin Clark Reacts to Avoiding WNBA Suspension After Technical Foul From Fever-Sky Rescinded

Caitlin Clark was set to face a one-game suspension after receiving her eighth technical foul of the season this week, but the WNBA rescinded that call.

Clark said she's happy the league "got it right."

"Obviously, I think it's the right decision, and I talked to the [head official] during the game and I felt good coming out of that too, like she was going to go back and look at it," Clark said. "... I'm just happy they got it right and I'm excited to be able to play tonight."

The Indiana Fever star also said the review process for technical fouls is an area for improvement for the WNBA.

"I think that's obviously an area the league can continue to grow in and obviously it takes more resources and more people and more eyeballs and more video angles," Clark said. "I think it's a great step forward next year when we have the replay center. I think that's gonna help with a lot of stuff."

Clark was given the technical during Saturday's contest against the Chicago Sky when she made contact with an official while complaining about a no-call.

The Fever appealed the tech soon after, and the WNBA quickly rescinded it.

Now, Clark will be on the court for Tuesday's game against the New York Liberty, but she still has to be careful not to pick up another technical foul.
