Dak Prescott Drops Bold Trash Talk on Video at Cowboys vs. Rams Joint Practice During NFL Preseason

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was fired up during a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday.

"Tell 'em bet the clocks today — winner takes the f--king clocks," Prescott said. "We'll steal their s--t. They ain't ready for that bet."

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer enjoyed the competitive environment of the session.

"Really good work," Schottenheimer said, per Tommy Yarrish of the team's official website. "Chippy at times between two very competitive football teams. Love the work, we'll go back and see the film."

While it's worth noting that Rams star pass-rusher Myles Garrett didn't compete in Tuesday's practice due to a knee issue, Prescott and the rest of Dallas' offense still found success.

The four-time Pro Bowler racked up four touchdowns in the red zone portion of practice after overcoming some early struggles (h/t Yarrish).

Prescott is looking to help the Cowboys improve upon their 7-9-1 finish last season and put an end to a brief two-year playoff drought.

The 33-year-old is coming off an impressive 2025 campaign despite Dallas' disappointing overall result, completing 67.3 percent of his throws for 4,552 yards and 30 touchdowns compared to 10 interceptions.

The Cowboys and Rams will meet in Week 15 of the 2026 season.
