Christian Gonzalez, Devin Lloyd Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

Christian Gonzalez and Devin Lloyd are the 28th- and 27th-best players in the NFL, respectively, at least in the eyes of their peers.

The New England Patriots cornerback and Carolina Panthers linebacker were the latest inclusions in the NFL Top 100 and checked in at No. 28 and 27 in Tuesday's reveal.

The full list is voted on by players across the league, meaning everyone included has earned the respect of their fellow playmakers.

Gonzalez, who is entering his fourth NFL season, has quickly established himself as one of the league's premier cornerbacks alongside Patrick Surtain II, Derek Stingley Jr. and Devon Witherspoon.

The Oregon product earned his first Pro Bowl nod a season ago en route to helping the Patriots clinch an AFC title.

According to Pro Football Focus, "Among cornerbacks with at least 200 coverage snaps, Gonzalez posted the lowest completion percentage allowed as the primary coverage defender (43.4%), which in turn contributed to his impressive 4.7 yards allowed per coverage target, tying for the league lead."

As for Lloyd, he is coming off his first career Pro Bowl nod and an All-Pro Second Team selection during the 2025 season when he was a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He posted 81 tackles, seven passes defended, five interceptions, 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovery. He returned one of his interceptions for a touchdown, underscoring his overall versatility that helps him make an impact against the run and the pass.

Now Lloyd will look to continue that success in the NFC after signing a three-year deal with the Panthers this offseason.

He will be one of the anchors of the team's defense as it looks to make a second consecutive playoff appearance from the NFC South.
