Freddie Freeman Says Dodgers Aren't 'Worried' by Recent Struggles, 'We're a Good Team'

The Los Angeles Dodgers' recent woes perhaps have fans worried about a potential postseason run, but Freddie Freeman isn't concerned.

"It's baseball. Ups and downs. We're going to go through it," Freeman said. "No one's worried in here."

The Dodgers have lost eight of their last nine games and are 9-12 since the start of the second half of the season. They lost 4-2 to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, marking their third consecutive series loss.

Still, Los Angeles is 70-48 on the season, sitting atop the NL West and four games back from the Milwaukee Brewers for the best record in baseball.

"We're a good team," Freeman said.

The Dodgers' offense is the main concern, with double plays being a significant area for improvement. As of Sunday, Los Angeles has grounded into 99 double plays, the most of any team this season.

That speaks partially to how well the Dodgers get on base, but actually doing something when they have runners on base is what they need to work on.

It's not time to panic just yet, especially given all the talent on the roster, but Los Angeles' offense needs a spark before the postseason starts.
