Kayla McBride Sets WNBA 3-Point Record, Final Box Score Stats, Highlights as Lynx Top Buckers, Wings

Kayla McBride wasn't doing much missing on Sunday.

The Minnesota Lynx star set a WNBA record with 10 made threes and set a career-high with 43 points in her team's 103-90 win over the Dallas Wings.

McBride shot an incredible 10-of-14 from three and was 16-of-21 from the field, making just one trip to the charity stripe (and yes, she made that shot, too).

This historic performance comes one day after Minnesota clinched the first WNBA playoff berth.

McBride going full McBucket overshadowed another brilliant performance from Lynx rookie Olivia Miles, who contributed 20 points and 13 assists.

Paige Bueckers led Dallas with 23 points and eight assists, though she also had six turnovers.

The Lynx (27-7) may be running away in the race for the top overall seed in the WNBA playoffs, now holding a 3.5-game lead on the Golden State Valkyries (22-9) and a 4.5-game lead on the Las Vegas Aces (22-11). The Lynx have just one loss in their last 13 games.

Minnesota still has 10 games left in its regular season, so plenty could change. But with five players averaging 15 or more points per game, Miles running away with the Rookie of the Year chase and Napheesa Collier now back in the mix after missing much of the season recovering from ankle surgery, the Lynx are looking like heavy favorites to win it all.
