'Pathetic,' Brooks Koepka Talks Struggles in PGA Tour Return, Has to 'Reevaluate Everything'

Brooks Koepka is not happy with his first season back on the PGA Tour after a four-year stint with LIV Golf.

"Yeah, pretty disappointed," he told reporters after his final round of the Wyndham Championship. "I think it's pretty pathetic that I can't get through [to the FedEx Cup playoffs]. Zero top-10s basically in two years. To be in the prime of your career and be as good as I think I am, I think that's very pathetic, disappointing. Just need to go home and completely reevaluate everything."

Koepka—who shot three under at the Wyndham Championship, well down the leaderboard—is projected to be at 94th in the FedEx Cup playoffs. Only the top 70 golfers in those rankings will qualify for next weekend's opening round of the playoffs, the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

One obvious area for potential improvement will be on the putting side.

"Ball-struck it great," Koepka said of his performance this weekend. "It's just all on the greens. I don't know what the deal is. [I've] got zero confidence [and] can't putt. I don't know. There's going to be a lot of changes here soon."
