Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase Explains Why He Likes When Joe Burrow Is 'F--king Pissed' on Video

Ja'Marr Chase is ready to see a fired-up version of Joe Burrow in 2026.

The Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver explained why he enjoys seeing his quarterback "f--king pissed off."

"I like it when he's f--king pissed off," Chase said. "I'm not gonna lie, I like it when he's like that. I like the fire that he has. He don't always bring it out. He maybe did it once or twice since camp started, but I like it. I love the fire when he has it. His demeanor is just more aggressive. His face is more aggressive, the way he talks is more aggressive, and he got like a little mean mug on his face."

Burrow has every reason to play angry in 2026 after the way the last few years have gone. He had an MVP-caliber season in 2024, yet the Bengals missed the playoffs. Last year, he played just eight games due to a turf toe injury.

Now, Burrow is looking to come back strong and lead Cincinnati to the success it has been chasing for years since its Super Bowl appearance in 2022.

When both are healthy, Burrow and Chase make for arguably the best duo in the league. Bengals fans can only hope that the two can stay on the field this year.
