Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase Reveals Which NFL Record He's Targeting on Video Ahead of 2026 Season

The NFL record for receiving touchdowns in a single season is 23, set by Hall of Famer Randy Moss in 2007. Ja'Marr Chase is gunning for it.

"The only goal that I have for myself going forward is to get 23 touchdowns," the Cincinnati Bengals' superstar said on NFL Network. "I wanna break the record. That's not my full goal every day. My goal is to be better than I was the last day. Trying to get my team better than they were the last day. And just trying to be better than what I was last year and trying to stay more consistent."

Technically Chase would need 24 receiving touchdowns to break the record, but you get the idea.

If anybody could do it, Chase could. The 26-year-old had 17 touchdowns in the 2024 season, his second season hitting double digits, though he only had eight in the 2025 campaign (Joe Burrow missing half the season certainly contributed to the decline).

The Bengals would certainly be thrilled to see him putting up those sorts of numbers as they look to end a three-season playoff drought.
