Rumors on Scott Steiner's Son Brock's WWE Future

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, and he reportedly could be joining the family business when he hangs up his cleats.

According to a recent report from Fightful Select (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), Rechsteiner has already communicated to WWE that he would be interested in transitioning to pro wrestling once his football career is over. One WWE higher-up told Fightful Select that there's a "99.9 percent chance" that he will get his wish.

After starring for Jackson State, Rechsteiner signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent. The report noted that he still wants to see how far he can go in the NFL before trying his hand at pro wrestling.

Unfortunately, Rechsteiner's career was halted before it even started, as he was suspended for the first six games of the 2026 season. He will still be allowed to participate in training camp and preseason games, but his chances of making the 53-man roster certainly took a hit.

Still, the WWE higher-up told Fightful Select that Rechsteiner's suspension likely won't impact the company's interest in him. The report added that WWE would forego the tryout process and sign him outright whenever his football career ends.

Rechsteiner will have the chance to join his cousin, Bron Breakker, as the next generation of the famed Steiner Family in WWE. Breakker also played college football before becoming a pro wrestler, and he has continued the family legacy as one of the top Superstars of the current era.

Charlotte Flair's Influence on Tatum Paxley's SmackDown Debut Revealed

Former NXT Women's Champion Tatum Paxley's debut on this past Friday's episode of SmackDown reportedly was orchestrated by a longtime veteran of the women's division.

According to a report from False Finish (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), Charlotte Flair personally requested that Paxley be called up to join forces with her and Alexa Bliss. Paxley assisted the former Women's Tag Team Champions in their longstanding feud against Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin.

The newly formed trio stood tall as SmackDown went off the air, positioning Paxley as a new ally for Flair and Bliss in one of the top women's storylines.

Paxley debuted in NXT in 2021 and grinded through multiple challenges before becoming one of the brand's most beloved Superstars. She won the NXT Women's Championship at Halloween Havoc last year, and she also claimed the Women's North American Championship earlier this year, joining Stephanie Vaquer as the only wrestlers to hold both titles.

A personal call-up from Flair is sure to bode well for Paxley as she transitions to the main roster, and she should have a major impact on the feud against Cargill and company.

Enzo Amore's WWE Status Updated

After Big Cass made his anticipated return to WWE as a solo act, many have wondered what it means for Enzo Amore.

It was initially rumored that Amore and Cass would return to WWE together, but Cass arrived on his own during last week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

According to a report from WrestleVotes (h/t Geno Mrosko of Cageside Seats), Amore's status with WWE is "still unclear." Following Cass' return last week, it's uncertain whether Amore is still on the company's radar despite the initial interest in both of them.

Amore hasn't wrestled in WWE since 2018. He and Cass were a wildly popular tag team before the company split them up and turned them heel as singles performers.

Now that Cass is back in the fold, WWE could be waiting for the right time to reintroduce Amore, but it also sounds like there's a chance that the company is no longer interested in his comeback.
