Watch Josh Allen Run Out at Bills' New Highmark Stadium in Nickel City Uniform for 1st Time on Video

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen ran out of the tunnel at his team's new home, Highmark Stadium, in his team's new "Nickel City" alternate uniforms.

Allen and the rest of the Bills were at the new stadium as part of the team's annual "Red and Blue" practice. This also marked the first-ever football event at Highmark Stadium.

The Nickel City look has received criticism. Allen is not one of those critics and defended them during a July 29 chat with reporters.

Buffalo is scheduled to wear the home uniforms twice in the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 27 against the Los Angeles Chargers and Saturday, Dec. 19 versus the Chicago Bears.

The Bills are starting a new era. Aside from the stadium, Buffalo is also under new leadership with offensive coordinator Joe Brady taking over as head coach after the Bills parted ways with ex-HC Sean McDermott. Buffalo also has a new defensive coordinator in Jim Leonhard, an ex-NFL safety and former Denver Broncos assistant head coach.

Buffalo is hoping the coaching change leads to instant success. The Bills have knocked on the door of making the Super Bowl over the past six years with six appearances in the AFC divisional round (and two in the AFC Championship Game).

They have not been able to pull through just yet, but the Bills always have a chance with Allen, a four-time Pro Bowler and 2024 NFL MVP, calling signals.

Buffalo will play twice at its new home in the preseason on Saturday, Aug. 15 (Carolina Panthers) and Thursday, Aug. 27 (Pittsburgh Steelers). The Bills' first regular season home game will be Thursday, Sept. 17 (Detroit Lions).
