Olivia Miles, Lynx Clinch 2026 WNBA Playoff Berth, Updated Bracket Picture and Standings

The Minnesota Lynx became the first team to clinch a spot in the 2026 WNBA playoffs following a 98-87 win over the Las Vegas Aces on Saturday.

Led by standout rookie Olivia Miles, the Lynx own the No. 1 spot in the WNBA standings with a 26-7 record.

While the Lynx advanced to the 2024 WNBA Finals and earned the league's No. 1 seed in 2025, their continued dominance this season is particularly surprising considering star forward Napheesa Collier has only appeared in six games after she recovered from ankle surgery.

Minnesota has been able to remain successful largely due to the stellar play of Miles, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA draft.

In 30 games heading into Saturday's action, she averaged 19.8 points, 5.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. She shot 50.2 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from three-point territory, earning an All-Star nod.

Miles continued to excel in the win over Las Vegas, finishing with a game-high 26 points on 11-of-23 shooting. She also racked up seven assists, four rebounds and one steal.

Still, Miles hasn't been the only key contributor for the Lynx this year.

Natasha Howard and Courtney Williams were also selected as All-Stars, while Nia Coffey ranks No. 9 among all players with her average of 1.2 blocks per game.

Minnesota has thrived on both ends of the floor, owning the league's No. 2 offensive rating and No. 2 defensive rating (via WNBA.com).

After officially earning a spot in the playoffs, the Lynx will now attempt to lock up the No. 1 seed for the second consecutive year. They currently hold a three-game lead over the Golden State Valkyries at No. 2.
