The purple and orange bracket finals take place Saturday in Greenville, North Carolina, with the four best teams in the 2026 Little League Softball World Series vying for a spot in the tournament finals on Sunday.

Florida, New Jersey Pitch Shutouts To Advance

Starting pitcher for the Lake Mary team out of Florida, Brynn Fieser, dominated in the circle and at the plate Friday, leading her team to victory and setting up a high-stakes rematch with North Carolina, two days after their first loss of the tournament to them.

Fieser pitched 3.1 shutout innings, tallied four strikeouts, and allowed just one walk and two hits. She also delivered an RBI double to put an exclamation point on her performance.

The team played efficient small ball and benefited from a wild pitch and a passed ball, proving they do not have to be the electrifying offense that produced 29 runs in their first two games to win.

The Toms River squad from New Jersey advanced on the dominance of their starting pitcher, Jaelyn Brown. She hurled a shutout for the second consecutive game and added an RBI single.

The ability of both pitchers to contribute on both sides of the ball is a major reason they have reached the finals of their brackets, with a chance to play for the LLSWS title.

If Lake Mary and Toms River can deliver the same type of performance Saturday as they did Friday, they will meet in the tournament finals, with a chance to hoist the most coveted prize in the sport.
