New Fantasy Football 2026 Mock Drafts and Cheat Sheets

This, folks, is what you call the heart of fantasy football draft season.

Or mock draft season, at least.

The NFL has its first preseason game in the books. The rest of the league will get their legs loose over the following month, and then pow, the actual campaign is up and running again.

If it's been a minute since you peaked at the clock, this is a great time for a glance. And as soon as you see how little time remains before your league's actual draft, you'll want to get rolling on all of the fantasy research you can.

Training Camp Tidbits

Kyler Murray looks like Minnesota's QB1.

There is, technically speaking, still a quarterback battle for the Vikings playing out between Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy. It sure sounds like this is close to being called, though, as ESPN's Kevin Seifert relayed that "daily observers have seen plenty of indications that Murray remains the heavy favorite to win the job."

Anyone in the market for a high-end backup quarterback with starting upside should probably move Murray up the board. He obviously comes with significant injury risk—he's played single-digit games in two of the past three seasons—but when he's inside the lines, he offers an elevated floor as a rusher and a substantial ceiling as a passer with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings at his disposal.

Seahawks rookie running back turning heads.

The Seattle Seahawks lost Zach Charbonnet to a torn ACL in January, then let Kenneth Walker III depart in free agency a few months later. While knowing they had a glaring void at running back, they quickly invested this year's No. 32 pick into Jadarian Price, a smooth and explosive runner who looks like he might make the most of this opportunity.

"He has great contact balance, great feet, great hands in the pass game," third-year Seahawks running back George Holani told reporters. "He's really explosive with his cuts. ... And, it's crazy how he can get vertical and find that crease and then make another cut to get open and just get a lot of yards from that."

No limitations for Bo Nix.

The Denver Broncos lost quarterback Bo Nix to a fractured ankle during their run to this past AFC Championship Game. It seems like that'll be nothing more than a painful memory, though, as the mobile quarterback, who has rushed for 786 yards and nine scores in his first two NFL seasons, doesn't envision that injury curtailing his mobility.

"Absolutely not," Nix told reporters. "I'm going to roll, and I'm going to be as athletic as I can be. It's a strength of ours and we have to use our strengths. For me, that's when I feel at my best and that's when I feel free."
