Little League Softball World Series 2026 Friday Bracket Results and Highlights

The 2026 Little League Softball World Series contained an important pair of matchups on Friday.

Northwest and Southeast faced off for an opportunity to advance to the championship game in the orange bracket, while Mid-Atlantic and Latin America battled to clinch a spot in the championship game for the purple bracket.

Friday Highlights

Southeast 5, Northwest 0

Lake Mary, Florida, represented the Southeast region and secured a shutout win over the Northwest squad from Snohomish, Washington.

While both teams were scoreless through the first two innings of the game, Brynn Fieser gave Southeast a 1-0 lead with her RBI double in the bottom of the third.

Northwest failed to respond in the top of the fourth inning, as Southeast extended the team's lead with four runs in the bottom of the frame. Karissa Edghill scored on a fielder's choice before a sacrifice fly from Chloe Cheek gave her squad a 3-0 edge.

An error and another fielder's choice allowed Southeast to score two more runs, as Northwest was unable to recover.

Fieser also put together a strong pitching performance, racking up four strikeouts compared to one walk in 3.1 innings of work.

Cheek was productive on the mound as well, recording four strikeouts while allowing two hits in 2.2 innings pitched.

Southeast will now face North Carolina for an opportunity to emerge from the orange bracket and advance to the Little League Softball World Series championship game.

Mid-Atlantic 4, Latin America 0

Tom's River, New Jersey is one win away from representing the Mid-Atlantic in the Little League Softball World Series championship game after a shutout victory over Latin America's team from Guayama, Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico got runners on base early in each of Friday's first two innings, but was unable to get anyone home before New Jersey pulled ahead in the bottom of the second.

New Jersey started out the frame by loading the bases, then took advantage of a single from Leiana Gay and an error from Puerto Rico to plate three runs.

An RBI single from pitcher Jaelyn Brown helped New Jersey extend the lead in the third frame.

Brown finished the game having allowed three hits and three walks while striking out four batters through six innings.

New Jersey will now advance to take on Kentucky in Saturday's semifinal at 3 p.m. ET. Whichever team wins will move on to play Florida or North Carolina in Sunday's championship game.
