Sabrina Carpenter Eyed by WWE's Blake Monroe for Epic Entrance in New Video Ahead of In-Ring Debut
Ahead of her in-ring debut on WWE's main roster, Blake Monroe named pop star Sabrina Carpenter as someone who she would love to sing her theme song.
During an appearance this week on TMZ Sports' Inside The Ring (beginning at the 6:48 mark), Monroe shot her shot regarding Carpenter helping her out with her entrance, saying, "I kind of want Sabrina to sing me to the ring. I think she would sing my theme song well. Maybe do her own version. Sabrina, if you want to."
Blake continued by explaining that she had a hand in the creation of her theme song, naming Carpenter and Ariana Grande as inspirations.
"I connected with them," Monroe said. "I sent them a bunch of inspiration, which was Sabrina, Ariana Grande, and then kind of described my character because the song, if you actually listen to the lyrics, is kind of like the way I dress and I act and everything."
Following her call-up from NXT, Monroe has been teased for weeks on SmackDown, and her in-ring debut for the blue brand figures to be on the horizon.
