Dak Prescott, Nik Bonitto Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Denver Broncos linebacker Nik Bonitto have joined the NFL Top 100 list going into the 2026 season.

Prescott came in at No. 31, making him the 13th quarterback on the list. It marks his seventh career selection to the list.

Bonitto was revealed as No. 32 on the list, marking his second consecutive appearance on the top 100.

This marks Prescott's fifth consecutive appearance on the NFL Top 100. He climbed up 48 spots from 2025 when he came in at No. 79.

The leap comes after Prescott threw for 4,552 yards, 30 touchdowns and completed 67.3 percent of his attempts. He threw the ball a career-high 600 times in part because Dallas' defense was so bad that the offense had to score a lot of points to have a chance at winning.

Prescott's 70.2 QBR ranked fifth among all qualified quarterbacks. The only players ahead of him were Drake Maye, Brock Purdy, Jordan Love and Matthew Stafford.

From that group, Prescott is ahead of Purdy (No. 85) and Love (No. 72) on the top 100.

Each of the Cowboys' big three offensive skill players have now appeared on the list. CeeDee Lamb was at No. 55 and George Pickens was named the 36th-best player.

Bonitto is already the fifth member of the Broncos to make the top 100, but just the second defensive player after Zach Allen. Bo Nix, Courtland Sutton and Garrett Bolles are their offensive representatives on the list so far.

It speaks to how much high-end depth head coach Sean Payton and general manager George Paton have assembled. It's also why they are tied for the third-most wins in the NFL over the past two seasons.

Bonitto has had a steady ascent to superstar talent. He entered the NFL as a second-round pick in 2022 and was primarily used as a rotation player during his rookie year, then recorded eight sacks in his second season.

The 2024 season saw Bonitto become a full-time starter and he hit another level with 13.5 sacks. He improved on that performance yet again last year with a career-high 28 quarterback hits and 14 sacks.

Denver has finished third in points allowed in each of the past two seasons thanks in large part to Bonitto becoming one of the most dominant pass-rushers in the NFL.
