Jackie Young Addresses Courtside Fans Being Removed from Seats During Aces vs. Fever

Two fans were removed from their courtside seats during Thursday's game between the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Aces guard Jackie Young explained the situation that led to her bringing it up to the officials.

"He was just chirping all game," Young said. "I let him have it, and then he just made one that was a little bit too far."

Young declined to provide specifics of what was said, saying, "I think we'll just keep it in here."

The situation occurred midway through the third quarter when Young was inbounding the ball. She made some acknowledgement of the fans, then spoke to a referee.

Play was stopped for several minutes before security escorted one fan from her seat out through a tunnel in the arena. She later returned to her seat, then two men seated near her were escorted out.

In a statement from the Fever about the female fan, arena security determined after speaking with her there was "no violation of the Fan Code of Conduct" and they consider the matter closed.

The Aces defeated the Fever 86-84 in overtime after trailing by as many as 20 points in the game.
