Mike Tomlin Makes NBC Debut in Trending Video Before Panthers-Cardinals HOF Game After Steelers Exit

Mike Tomlin made his debut for NBC Sports ahead of Thursday night's broadcast of the Hall of Fame game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals, saying he was looking forward to "going undefeated" in the new gig.

Tomlin also interviewed Panthers quarterback Bryce Young to discuss Carolina's upcoming season.

Tomlin, 54, made the switch to broadcasting after spending 19 years as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He went 193-114-2 in that span with a Super Bowl title, two Super Bowl appearances and an 8-12 playoff record.

The Steelers last won a playoff game in the 2016 season, however, and following the 2025 campaign Tomlin and the organization chose to part ways. He was replaced by Mike McCarthy and quickly scooped up by NBC to be a part of their Football Night in America studio show.
