Cowboys' Dak Prescott Addresses End of Engagement to Sarah Jane Ramos
Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos called off their wedding in March, and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback spoke publicly about the split on Thursday.
"There were a lot of false narratives out there on both of our sides. That was very unfortunate, unfortunate for me, but somebody who's been in it and knows how to whatever to the media more to me and fortunate for her, but it's kind of life we live in," Prescott said, per Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News. "Yeah, it was an unfortunate situation for obviously everybody. More importantly, the kids. And so for me, it's just about making sure I'm there in every which way for them."

Prescott also discussed what it's like navigating a personal matter as a public figure.
"Yeah, I mean, I don't necessarily think it was public to me," he said. "Once again, I believe what you take in, what you read, what you look up, you're doing that to yourself."
Prescott and Ramos had been together since September 2023 and got engaged in October 2024. They called off their engagement five weeks before the wedding.
Prescott and Ramos share two daughters, a two-year-old and a one-year-old.
Prescott is entering his 11th NFL season and is coming off a tremendous year in which he finished third in passing yards (4,552) and fourth in touchdowns (30).
