'Madden' Movie Teased in Video With Nicolas Cage Ahead of Prime Video Release Date

Prime Video dropped a teaser for the upcoming John Madden biopic entitled Madden on Thursday.

Nicolas Cage, who plays the eponymous character, discussed what it was like to portray a football legend like Madden in the highly anticipated movie:

Along with a sneak peak at some clips from the movie, it was also revealed in the trailer that Madden will drop on Prime Video on Nov. 18.

Few people are more synonymous with the sport of football than Madden thanks to his excellence as both a coach and analyst.

Madden was head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 1969 to 1978, going 103-32-7 and winning a Super Bowl during his tenure. His career winning percentage of .759 is the best in NFL history among those who coached at least 100 games.

After his coaching career ended, Madden became the most famous NFL broadcaster of all time, and he lent his name to one of the biggest video game franchises as well in the EA Sports Madden NFL series.

Cage is part of a star-studded cast in Madden, as he is joined by Christian Bale as longtime Raiders owner Al Davis, Kathryn Hahn as Madden's wife Virginia and John Mulaney as EA Sports founder Trip Hawkins.
