Travis Kelce 'Dad Body' Controversy Addressed by Andy Reid at Chiefs Camp

Travis Kelce had a big offseason centered around his wedding with pop star Taylor Swift, but the celebration didn't stop the star tight end from showing up to the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp in good shape.

While some have claimed that Kelce has developed a "dad body," head coach Andy Reid said that's far from the case.

"He came back in good shape," Reid said. "I know everybody's out there saying he's got the dad body and all this stuff, but he looks the same to me that he's always looked, and just playing like crazy. So he's doing a nice job with everything. He's focused in and ready to go, and I appreciate that, when you have somebody who's been here 14 years and wants to be out there every snap... he's going to play and play hard and be aggressive and not be stopped, and that's contagious."

Kelce is 36 years old and is entering his 14th season, so he naturally isn't going to be in as good of shape as he was 10 years ago, but Reid seems confident he'll be a contributor for the Chiefs this year.

Kelce had a solid 2025 campaign, hauling in 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns to lead Kansas City's receiver group.

The future Hall of Famer mulled retirement this offseason, but ultimately decided to give it at least one more go. If it is his last season, he'll look to end his legendary career on a good note.
