Puka Nacua Hires New Agents amid Rams Contract Rumors Ahead of 2026 NFL Season

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has reportedly hired new representation amid his bid for a new contract.

Nacua has hired Win Sports Group to represent him in extension talks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Win Sports Group also represents Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Baltimore Ravens wideout Zay Flowers, both of whom landed lucrative extensions this offseason.

Smith-Njigba inked the most lucrative deal for any wide receiver in NFL history when he signed a four-year deal, $168.6 million extension including $120 million in guaranteed money in March.

Flowers joined the top 10 of the NFL's highest-paid wide receivers Tuesday when he signed a four-year, $140 million deal with $108 million guaranteed.

Nacua could be looking to join Smith-Njigba and Flowers among the league's best-compensated wideouts after leading the NFL with 129 catches while posting a career-high 1,715 receiving yards in his third season with the Rams.

The 25-year-old is currently heading into the 2026 season under a $5.8 million cap hit in the final year of his rookie deal, per Spotrac.

He has been participating in training camp despite not yet having finalized an extension for his expiring deal.

ESPN's Dan Graziano recently reported Rams general manager Les Snead declined to answer a question about contract talk with Nacua but said the wide receiver is "in a great spot."

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported in late July the Rams are more likely to discuss an extension for Nacua next offseason rather than during this training camp.

Nacua has been one of the NFL's most productive receivers when healthy ever since he was selected by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2023 draft. He said ahead of training camp he is working on himself following off-field concerns this offseason.

The franchise tag for a wide receiver in 2027 is projected by Over the Cap to be around $31.5 million. Whether the Rams would consider that as an option to stop Nacua from hitting unrestricted free agency could be a question for after the 2026 season.
