The unofficial start to football season is here.

The first episode of Hard Knocks aired on HBO Max on Tuesday, giving fans an inside look into the preparation that goes into the season. This year's season follows the Seattle Seahawks as they look to defend their Super Bowl title.

It's the first time since 2001 that Hard Knocks has followed a defending champion.

Naturally, the episode began with the Seahawks receiving their Super Bowl rings, which produced a hilarious moment in which quarterback Sam Darnold dropped his ring immediately upon pulling it out of the box.

Head coach Mike Macdonald used the legendary 1990s Chicago Bulls to set the tone for training camp.

With Kenneth Walker III leaving for the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason, all eyes will be on first-round pick Jadarian Price in the backfield. His play during the first week of training camp turned some heads.

Even though the vibes have been good for the defending champs, tension quickly built, and a handful of fights broke out during a scrimmage in the first week of camp.
