Andrew PetersAug 3, 2026

UFC fighter Allan Nascimento has died at the age of 34, the UFC announced Monday.

According to the UFC, Nascimento was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep and was pronounced dead after efforts from a medical team.

Nascimento, a native of Brazil, began his MMA career in his home country in 2011 and put together a 17-4 record before making his UFC debut at Dana White's Contender Series in 2018.

While he lost a split decision to Raulian Paiva at the Contender Series, he was signed to the UFC in 2021. He picked up wins over Cody Durden, Jafel Filho, Carlos Hernandez and Jake Hadley and lost to Tagir Ulanbekov and Mitch Raposo. He earned a pair of Performance of the Night bonuses during his career.

His most recent fight was his loss to Raposo in a split decision at UFC Vegas 119 in June.

Nascimento represented the Chute Boxe Diego Lima team from São Paulo and trained with former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.
