49ers' Christian McCaffrey Teases New Shoe in Latest Workout Photos on IG

San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey showed off his upcoming training shoe from apparel brand While On Earth.

In a series of photos on Instagram, the four-time Pro Bowler said the new sneaker will drop on Aug. 24 and teased some of the design elements:

McCaffrey left Nike for While On Earth, a company he co-founded, last August.

"This was a perfect time for me to be a part of something that can transcend my playing days," he told Boardroom's Shlomo Sprung. "That was what I was feeling in my gut. I believe in the product and the ethos of the entire company."

McCaffrey is the most visible athlete under the company's banner. Brooke Wells and Mat Fraser, who made their name in CrossFit, are also endorsers and co-founders.
