Jerry Jones Addresses If Cowboys' AT&T Stadium Will Use Curtains to Block Sun After FIFA World Cup

At long last, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones might be willing to take measures to ease the troublesome glare at AT&T Stadium.

Jones told Mike Doocy of Fox 4 he's still resistant on placing curtains on the west-facing side of the stadium. He is, however, more open to tinting those windows:

Since AT&T Stadium first opened, it's east-west orientation has caused some problems on game days. The setting sun is right in the eye line of players, making it difficult for them to pick up the ball. Quarterbacks are also staring directly into the sun as they're looking downfield.

Jones hasn't yet done anything to address what remains a persistent issue. Adding to the fans' frustration is that AT&T Stadium did have curtains when it hosted FIFA World Cup matches.

Perhaps the 83-year-old was finally embracing common sense.

The World Cup wasn't actually that much of a change, though. AT&T Stadium personnel have in the placed curtains around the windows in the past for non-football events.

Window tints would undoubtedly lessen the glare without changing the aesthetic of AT&T Stadium too much. But Jones didn't exactly sound like someone who's rushing to make the design alteration.
