Tarik Skubal will be keeping the No. 29 in Los Angeles.

The Dodgers revealed his new jersey on Sunday after acquiring him from the Detroit Tigers for prospects Zyhir Hope, River Ryan and Brady Smith.

It was a trade that surprised exactly no one given L.A.'s history of aggressive roster acquisitions, a hefty payroll and a stacked farm system that had enough intriguing pieces to entice Detroit in negotiations.
