How Patriots Rookies 'Pay Their Dues' Revealed in Report, Features Maye's Juicer & DeVito's Snacks

New England Patriots quarterback Behren Morton has been both a football player and gofer this summer.

ESPN's Mike Reiss reported Sunday that Patriots rookies are expected to fill the snack reserve for their respective position groups. Drake Maye and Tommy DeVito, meanwhile, are enjoying the full benefits of their tenure.

"For [Morton], that has meant ensuring fresh oranges are plentiful in the quarterbacks room to go with the juicer Maye purchased last season," per Reiss. "Keeping cups stocked is part of the job, as is having Gushers for DeVito and 'purple bag Doritos' (aka spicy sweet chili) for QBs coach Ashton Grant."

Morton quipped the cost would be much higher if he played along the offensive line.

The former Texas Tech star appears to be a strong bet to make New England's final 53-man roster. Assuming he's still on the team next year, he'll get to be the one aiding from his teammates' unpaid labor.
