UFC Freedom 250: Topuria v Gaethje

Ilia Topuria Shares New Photo of His Face After Bloodied Loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC White House

Ilia Topuria looks to be in much better physical shape now, nearly two full months removed from being battered and bloodied by Justin Gaethje in the main event at UFC Freedom 250.

Topuria posted a picture of his face largely back to normal, give or a take a small scar on his nose.

The image comes seven weeks after the memorable battle between Topuria and Gaethje for the lightweight title at the UFC White House event on June 14. Topuria lost via TKO when his corner stopped the fight between rounds four and five due to the damage he took.

Topuria revealed afterward he lost sight in both of his eyes during the bout before challenging Gaethje to a rematch at some point. His team revealed he would be okay and his injuries would heal with time.

The earliest Topuria can compete again is December because he received a 180-day medical suspension from the California State Athletic Commission as a result of the fight.
