Angel Reese, Flau'jae Johnson's Final Box Score Stats, Highlights as Dream Beat Storm

Angel Reese made Atlanta Dream history during a Friday night win over her former LSU teammate Flau'jae Johnson and the Seattle Storm.

Reese scored a team-high 21 points as the Dream overcame a late comeback push from the Storm to claim a 98-89 win at home.

She also contributed six offensive rebounds to set a new franchise single-season record in the category.

The Dream started to pull away midway through Friday's first quarter and never looked back.

The home team dominated throughout the next two quarters to lead by as many as 17 points midway through the game.

Natisha Hiedeman and Ezi Magbegor helped lead the Storm on a late push to get within four points with less than a minute left on the clock.

The Dream ultimately held on to close out a fifth straight win, improve to 18-10 on the season and hold off the Indiana Fever and Dallas Wings for fourth place in the league standings.

Reese has been dominant throughout that five-game span, during which she has recorded four games with at least 20 points and 10 assists.

Jordin Canada, who has averaged 9.6 assists per game over that same stretch, climbed Friday to fourth on the Dream's all-time leaderboard for career assists.

The Storm continued to improve their case for a high draft pick by falling to a league-worst 6-25 record.
