Dak Prescott 'Not Going to Shy Away From' Super Bowl Talk Ahead of Cowboys' 2026 Season

Dak Prescott has won just two playoff games during his 10-year NFL career, but he's certainly optimistic that this might be the year the Dallas Cowboys finally get over the top.

"I'm not going to shy away from [Super Bowl talk]," he told reporters Thursday. "Why not now?"

The Cowboys undoubtedly have talent, though a 30-year-old Super Bowl drought looms over the organization. Take away the three titles in the 1990s, teams built by Jimmy Johnson, and the Jerry Jones' era has been defined by falling short in the postseason.

Dallas is looking to bounce back from consecutive seven-win seasons, and the trio of Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens offers hope. Until the Cowboys prove capable of winning big games, however, doubt will linger.
