Carlos Alcaraz's return to the tennis court for the 2026 US Open may feature a new hairstyle.

Alcaraz debuted a new braided hairstyle in a series of photos on Instagram recapping his July.

Notably, the tennis star arrived at last year's U.S. Open with a buzzcut. He explained his brother messed up his haircut, and the buzz was the only solution.

All eyes will be on Alcaraz at the U.S. Open regardless of his haircut of choice as he pursues his eighth career Grand Slam title. He has not competed in a tournament since April because of injury, so there may be some rust to shake off.

Still, he figures to be one of the top competitors for the prize if he can quickly return to form.
