Madden NFL 27 Player Ratings Revealed for Garrett, Parsons, Gonzalez and Top 10 EDGE, CBs, LBs

EA Sports continued its rollout of the top players in Madden NFL 27 ahead of next month's release of the highly anticipated video game.

On Thursday, the top 10 edge rushers, linebackers and cornerbacks were unveiled, with Los Angeles Rams star Myles Garrett, Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons, San Francisco 49ers star Fre Warner and New England Patriots star Christian Gonzalez leading the way at their respective positions. The full top 10 for each position is as follows:

Garrett is the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, winning the award for the second time in his career after setting a new NFL record with 23 sacks last season. He was traded to the Rams this offseason, instantly making them the favorites to win the Super Bowl this year.

While Gonzalez didn't have an interception in the regular season in 2025, he still maintained his consistency as one of the best shutdown cornerbacks in the league. He put his skills on full display during the Patriots' run to the Super Bowl, recording seven passes defended and an interception across four games.

Despite Gonzalez's strong start to his career, he's yet to receive the big-money extension many have been expecting this offseason. However, Patriots owner Robert Kraft made it clear that the team is motivated to get a deal done.

"We love Christian Gonzalez. We love him as a player, as a person, and that's why we've made an offer to him to make him the highest-paid player to ever play that position in the NFL," Kraft said Saturday morning before the team's first practice of training camp last weekend, per ESPN's Mike Reiss. "And coincidentally, it is the highest contract in Patriots franchise history. So we're glad we drafted him, he's developed here, and we hope he'll be with us for a long time."

Gonzalez, Parsons and Warner will certainly be hoping to join Garrett in the coveted 99 Club. Each player will have the chance to improve their Madden rating throughout the 2026 campaign.

Madden NFL 27 will launch worldwide on Aug. 13, and players who have the MVP+ membership will be granted early access up to seven days in advance.
