Chiefs' Chris Jones, Bengals' Joe Burrow Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

The NFL Top 100 list continued to take shape on Thursday with Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow as the latest additions.

Jones is making his eighth straight appearance in the top 100 and came in ranked at No. 43.

Burrow ranked No. 44 on this year's list, marking his fifth appearance in the top 100.

Despite a down year for the Chiefs in which they missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014, Jones' consistency stayed the same. He played in all 17 games and produced 29 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, seven sacks and two passes defended. He was named to his seventh straight Pro Bowl for his efforts.

With Jones anchoring the middle of the defensive line, the Chiefs ranked 10th in the NFL with 301.5 total yards allowed per game and sixth with 19.3 points allowed per game.

Jones has spent his entire career in Kansas City since arriving as a second-round draft pick in 2016. The three-time Super Bowl champion and six-time All-Pro will certainly be motivated to help lead his longtime franchise back to prominence in 2026.

Burrow was limited to just eight games in 2025 due to a significant toe injury, but he still showed that he's one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He finished with 1,809 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions in limited action on his way to earning Pro Bowl honors for the third time.

The No. 1 pick in the 2020 draft, Burrow didn't take long to make his mark in the NFL. He led the league with 4,918 passing yards and 43 touchdowns in 2024, and his career completion percentage of 68.5 percent still stands as an NFL record.

While Burrow has been brilliant when healthy, he's starting to develop a reputation for being injury-prone. The 2025 season was the third time in his career that he played fewer than 12 games.

Burrow's No. 44 ranking is his lowest in the NFL Top 100. He peaked at No. 6 in 2023 and 2025. Despite the demotion, it's clear that he still has the respect of his peers.
