Final Picks for Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Entire WWE SummerSlam 2026 Match Card

It's that time of year again when the men and women of WWE take part in the biggest party of the summer, WWE SummerSlam.

This year's event will be another two-night PLE at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota and will feature some huge matchups.

As of right now, six matches have been booked for each night, with a handful of titles being defended across both days.

Let's go through each match and make some predictions.

Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar

The biggest non-title match on the entire card will see Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar enter Hell in a Cell on Saturday.

Each man currently holds one victory in their feud, so this is the rubber match, and that makes the outcome relatively obvious.

The Beast has been one of WWE's most successful stars, so he has reached the point in his career when putting others over is more valuable.

Femi is being positioned as a future main-eventer for WWE, and that means the only logical ending for this bout is for him to win and conquer The Beast.

Lesnar will go back to his farm for a little while and return unharmed by the loss for his next feud, while Femi rides the victory toward a world title shot at some point.

Prediction: Femi wins

The Bloodline vs. LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys

The Usos and Jacob Fatu will take on Solo Sikoa, Royce Keys and LA Knight in a six-man tag match on Saturday.

With Sikoa's own group turning their backs on him recently, he was forced to find allies elsewhere for his feud with his family, and Knight and Keys fit the bill.

Sikoa has been enjoying the first semi-babyface run of his WWE career in recent weeks, and fans have responded positively to it.

Giving The Usos and Fatu a win wouldn't really do anything for them, but the other three men overcoming The Bloodline would give them a lot of momentum.

This outcome isn't as obvious as others, but we're going with Knight, Keys and Sikoa to get the win because it creates more interesting options for after the PLE.

Prediction: Sikoa, Keys and Knight win

Gunther vs. Nick Aldis

Nick Aldis is about to have his first match in WWE ring, and he has the monumental task of taking on Gunther.

The reality of the situation is that this feels like the only option WWE had. Gunther isn't in the hunt for a major title right now, but he needed an opponent for the show, so Aldis was a compromise.

With The Ring General also having the nickname of The Career Killer, it would make absolutely no sense for him to lose a match to a guy who hasn't wrestled in a few years after he retired a few of the best WWE had to offer in the last couple of years.

Aldis is going to get in some good offense and create some hope, but in the end, Gunther is going to defeat him so he can move on to whatever his next feud will be.

Prediction: Gunther wins

The Bellas and Paige vs. Fatal Influence

Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley recently defeated Brie Bella and Paige to win the women's tag titles, so Fatal Influence is riding high right now.

Nikki Bella's return opened up the door for a six-woman tag match to take place at SummerSlam, and while it would make the most sense for the new champions to win to continue looking strong at the start of their reign, WWE probably won't do that.

The obvious path here is for Brie and Nikki to eventually win the tag belts themselves, and having them beat Fatal Influence in a six-woman match seems like exactly the way WWE would put them in position to challenge for the belts in the future.

Reid, Henley and Jacy Jayne should win this match, but WWE is going to want Nikki to look strong after her return, so her team is likely going to score the win.

Prediction: The Bellas and Paige win

Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky

The Women's World Championship will be on the line when Liv Morgan defends against Iyo Sky.

Even though Morgan's win at WrestleMania was a big moment for her, WWE has failed to make her reign interesting by not booking her to defend the belt regularly.

At this point, the most interesting option would be to put the belt back on Sky, especially now that Raquel Rodriguez has the IC title in her possession.

Morgan's loss will make her jealous of her teammate being the only one with gold, and that will lead to the group's eventual destruction.

This might not be the way WWE goes, but putting the belt back on Sky is the best option for all involved, especially from a storytelling standpoint.

Prediction: Sky wins

CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes

CM Punk has only held the title since July 8, when he defeated Sami Zayn, and he is not the kind of person WWE is going to book to be a transitional champion.

Rhodes has held the WWE title almost as much time as he hasn't since returning to WWE. In fact, he is already No. 10 on the list of most combined days as WWE champion, which is wild to think about when you consider how he racked up all that time just in the past few years.

The fact of the matter is that Rhodes winning would be the most unsatisfying option. He needs to spend some time doing other things and chasing the belt before WWE puts it back on him.

This will be a solid match between two of the top babyfaces in the company, but when the dust settles, Punk is going to be the one celebrating.

Prediction: CM Punk wins

Penta vs. Chad Gable

After his highly lauded match with El Grande Americano in AAA, it feels like WWE wants to put more effort into pushing Chad Gable, and that all kicks in at SummerSlam.

Penta has been great since coming to WWE, but we would be lying if we said his reign was booked well. WWE hasn't done much to give him any serious rivals, so most of his title defenses have felt like random encounters.

Gable winning the title feels like the most logical conclusion. He has the support of the fans and deserves to win his first singles title after his years of hard work.

This will likely be one of the most exciting bouts we get all weekend, and it's going to end with Gable having his hand raised.

Prediction: Gable wins

Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio

One of the only matches with a stipulation on the card will feature Danhausen taking on Dominik Mysterio in what is being called a Human Monies on a Pole match.

This is going to be a comedy match from start to finish. There's no question about that, and there is little doubt about who will win, too.

Danhausen might not compete very often, but WWE has protected him by keeping his booking strong, and with how popular he has become, that is unlikely to change.

Even with help from Judgment Day, Danhausen is going to claim the money and get the win, possibly with the help of The Miz and Kit Wilson, who haven't been seen much in recent weeks since Danhausen began experimenting on them.

This might not be your cup of tea, but if you like comedy wrestling, this might end up being your favorite match this weekend.

Women's Intercontinental Title Ladder Match

Rhea Ripley won the WWE Women's Championship from Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42, but a recent injury has forced WWE to crown an interim champion until she is cleared for a return.

Five women will compete in a Ladder match on Sunday to crown the new champion. It will include Jade, Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair, Chelsea Green and either Giulia or Lash Legend, depending on who wins their qualifier on SmackDown.

Putting the belt back on Jade makes no sense, and giving it to Tiffy, who is already the U.S. champion, seems just as illogical. This might surprise some people, but we are going with an underdog pick and predicting Chelsea Green to win.

She has been one of the best workhorses in WWE, and she has earned a big moment like this. Even if she ends up losing to Ripley eventually, she will benefit greatly from holding the title for a short time.

Prediction: Green wins

Trick Williams vs. Baron Corbin

This is one of the harder matches to predict across the entire card because both outcomes make sense for different reasons.

Trick Williams has become a star on the main roster and continues to grow in popularity. Keeping him looking strong with a successful title defense has no downside.

However, Barcon Corbin just made his return to WWE, and the company appears to be taking his character more seriously this time, so having him win a title in his first PLE match since his return would be a great way to get his push started.

Williams won the belt at WrestleMania and has had several great matches since then. His reign has been decent, so if it came to an end now, it would still be considered a success.

We're 50-50 on this one, but since we have to pick, we're going to go with Corbin just because we know WWE wants to book at least one or two title changes to make the PLE memorable.

Prediction: Corbin wins

Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor

Whoever wins the match between Sami Zayn and Finn Balor will earn a title shot against whoever leaves SummerSlam with the WWE Championship.

Zayn just lost the title to Punk less than a month ago, so it wouldn't be surprising to see WWE keep him in the hunt by having him win this bout, but we think it's going to go a different way.

Balor winning would help further his current babyface push, and it would send Zayn even further into madness, which is the most interesting outcome.

This will be a great match between two veterans who know each other well, but Balor is going to end up winning, and Zayn is going to continue ranting and raving to anyone who will listen.

Prediction: Balor wins

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

The main event of night two of SummerSlam will see one of WWE's longest-standing rivalries add another chapter when Roman Reigns defends his world title against Seth Rollins.

The story being told here is that Reigns has never been able to beat Rollins when it mattered, which isn't completely true if you look at their history, but Rollins definitely has the edge in their win-loss records.

As Reigns has said multiple times, he needs to win this match to prove to both himself and Rollins that he is the better man. If he can't, all of his Tribal Chief posturing was for nothing.

Rollins is going to give Reigns one of his best matches in quite some time, but he won't leave SummerSlam with the belt. The OTC is going to get the victory to cement himself as the top dog on Raw once again.
