Joe Alt Reports to Chargers Training Camp in 2009 Minivan, Hypes Toyota Sienna to Reporters

Los Angeles Chargers offensive tackle Joe Alt isn't shy about bragging about his old-school ride.

Alt showed up to training camp on Wednesday in a 2009 Toyota Sienna and spent some time raving about the minivan while speaking to reporters.

"When the Alt family goes on vacation… we're looking for a Toyota Sienna," Alt declared. "… If you're looking for a minivan--I'm not even sponsored by Toyota--Toyota Sienna."

Alt was limited to just six games in 2025 due to a pair of ankle injuries that eventually required season-ending surgery. Despite his lost year, he earned his first Pro Bowl selection.

While Alt said he's unsure of his status for the start of training camp, he sounded confident that he's back to full strength. His return could be what the Chargers need to solidify themselves as title contenders in 2026.
