Danhausen Places Curse on Tom Brady

Amid rumors and speculation regarding legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady having a WWE match, one of WWE's most popular stars made their feelings known regarding the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

During an interview with Complex, Danhausen was asked about Brady, and he used that opportunity to curse the future Pro Football Hall of Famer:

Brady has been closely linked to WWE lately based on his comments and actions at Fanatics Fest.

During an appearance on Cody Rhodes' What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast, Brady brought up the possibility of having a WWE match, saying, "I feel like, I'm retired from football, have the opportunity to go out there and showcase that I'm still a little bit of an athlete. My boy Gronk's done it, I've seen Logan Paul do it. I think I could get in there for at least one match, right?"

Then, one day later, Brady got into it with WWE Superstar and YouTuber Logan Paul by slapping him while they were on stage at Fanatics Fest:

Brady got into an argument with Paul earlier this year on his Impaulsive podcast (h/t Boston.com's Khari A. Thompson) when he minimized pro wrestling, saying, "It's cute. I love WWE. It's very cute. But, honestly, this is like real football, real competition."

Now, Brady may be trending toward an eventual appearance or even a match in a WWE ring.

TMZ Sports reported last week that Brady has been in conversations with WWE, leading to speculation about Brady possibly having a match with Paul standing out as his most likely opponent.

Nothing is set in stone regarding Brady making the leap to WWE, but if it happens, he will now have to contend with one of Danhausen's famous curses.

Aalyah Mysterio Reportedly Set to Train at WWE PC

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio already has a son in the pro wrestling business, and now his daughter may be following suit.

According to PWInsider.com (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), Aalyah Mysterio is expected to start her journey toward becoming a professional wrestler at the WWE Performance Center in the near future.

That news comes on the heels of comments Rey made about Aalyah and her interest in wrestling during an appearance on The Undertaker's Six Feet Under podcast last month.

During the discussion with The Undertaker (h/t Carrier), Rey revealed that Aalyah trained with him at the WWE PC in October, which led to her doing two straight weeks of training. Rey noted that Aalyah "really loved it."

Rey said that Aalyah did another two weeks of training at the PC in February, and now that she has graduated from college, she is set to pursue a potential career as a WWE Superstar.

Aalyah is no stranger to WWE, as she took part in a romantic angle with Buddy Murphy in 2020 during Rey and Dominik Mysterio's rivalry with Murphy and Seth Rollins.

She also got physically involved with Rhea Ripley in 2022 as part of the angle that saw Dominik turn on Rey and join The Judgment Day.

Dominik has quickly developed into one of WWE's top heels, so perhaps there is hope for Aalyah to follow in his footsteps and become a viable pro wrestler as well.

Cena, Punk Comment on Waller's NXT Promo

Grayson Waller was the talk of the wrestling world on Tuesday night when he made a surprise appearance on NXT and cut a scathing promo about the brand and his place in the company.

The promo got fans buzzing, but they weren't the only ones who had plenty to say about Waller's breakthrough moment.

Two legendary WWE performers used their platforms to put the spotlight on Waller and praise him for seizing the opportunity.

In a post on X, John Cena applauded Waller for finding his "why" and expressed excitement for what will come next:

CM Punk also chimed in with a post on his Instagram Stories, writing, "Frustration distilled and funneled into a bullet aimed at the competition."

Waller has been under a WWE contract since 2021, and it didn't take him long to stand out in NXT thanks to his sharp-tongued and cocky heel character.

He found some success after getting called up to the main roster in 2023, including co-holding the WWE Tag Team Championships with Austin Theory, but after they dropped those titles, Waller largely faded into obscurity.

His opportunities have been few and far between in the past couple of years, which made him a prime candidate to go back to NXT in order to rebuild his stock.

Waller did more to help himself in one night in NXT than he had been able to do in years on the main roster, and he suddenly feels like a hot commodity thanks to his engaging promo.
