Josh Hines-Allen, Quinyon Mitchell Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

Jacksonville Jaguars EDGE Josh Hines-Allen and Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell have entered the NFL Top 100 list ahead of the 2026 regular season.

Hines-Allen was revealed as No. 48, moving up 15 spots from last year's ranking.

Mitchell jumped up two spots to No. 47 after coming at 49 in 2025.

Even though Hines-Allen's sack total hasn't gotten back to his 2023 peak, he remains an impactful force on a Jacksonville defense that was very good last season.

Hines-Allen finished 2025 with 28 quarterback hits, 12 tackles for loss and eight sacks. He ranked sixth among all defensive players in quarterback hits.

The Jaguars finished eighth in the NFL in points allowed last season. It was their highest ranking in the category since 2018.

Hines-Allen leads a deep group of Jacksonville pass-rushers that includes former No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker and Arik Armstead. He has been consistent throughout his career with at least seven sacks in six of the past seven seasons.

The lone outlier year was in 2020 when Hines-Allen only recorded 2.5 sacks in eight games due to a knee injury. He is already the Jaguars' all-time leader in sacks with 61 in 107 career games.

There is a great sense of optimism around the Jaguars going into the 2026 campaign after they won 13 games last season. Hines-Allen is one of the primary reasons they can be a Super Bowl contender.

Hines-Allen is now the second Jaguars player on the top 100 after Trevor Lawrence came in at No. 62.

Mitchell has been so good in his first two seasons with the Eagles. After finishing second in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting and winning a Super Bowl in 2024, he followed it up with an All-Pro first-team selection last season.

The 25-year-old hasn't recorded an interception in the regular season yet, though some of that is because he's not being targeted by opposing quarterbacks. He was targeted just 82 times last season, allowing 36 completions (43.9 percent) for 389 yards and 17 passes defensed.

Mitchell led all cornerbacks with 1.8 yards after the catch per reception in 2025. He does have four interceptions in five playoff games.

Playing on a defense that also includes Cooper DeJean, Jalen Carter, Zack Baun and Jordan Davis, Mitchell is arguably the best of the bunch and a big reason the Eagles have won 25 games since the start of 2024.
