Caleb Williams Eyes Madden 99 Club and Reacts to Micah Parsons Praise amid Bears-Packers Rivalry

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams explained how he plans to raise his Madden NFL 27 rating to 99 overall.

"If I get my completion percentage up, I'll be a 99," Williams said during a Monday appearance on the Up & Adams Show (10:52 mark). "That's how everybody feels about it. I don't throw picks, I'm not a pick guy, never been a pick guy. Throw a few more touchdowns, keep the picks down and then just get the completion up."

Williams is the cover athlete of the popular video game, currently sporting a 90 overall rating.

The 24-year-old also discussed the recent praise that he received from Green Bay Packers star pass-rusher Micah Parsons, his NFC North rival.

"I didn't get into it," Williams said (12:12 mark). "I just enjoyed my offseason. I worked out, popped up my phone and moved on from it. That's really it. I don't feed into it. I know who I am, I know who we are as a team and I know what I've been able to help provide since I've been here with the Bears going in that rivalry."

Parsons recently referenced Williams' "Iceman" nickname in a social media video of players predicting who will earn the No. 1 spot in the NFL Top 100 (0:15 mark).

During the 2025 season, Williams completed 58.1 percent of his throws for 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns compared to seven interceptions.

He helped the Bears win the NFC North with an 11-6 record, defeating the Packers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs before ultimately falling to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round.
